Help/Getting started/What to edit when outputs feel “off”
What to edit when outputs feel “off”
Updated 2026-04-11

Start with the direction

If outputs feel generic, your direction is usually too broad. Tighten the audience and the promise.

Three edits that fix 80%

  1. Add proof: one metric, one case-study hint, or one differentiator.
  2. Specify tone: e.g., “confident, minimal, not hype”.
  3. Handle an objection: price, complexity, trust, time.

What not to do

Don’t request “10 variants of everything”. First decide what the single best angle is, then ask for targeted variants (headlines only, or hooks only).
